📅 Program Details:
• Dates: June 15 – September 18, 2026 (12 weeks training + 1 week employment support)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Location: ACE Community College, Surrey, BC (9486 120 Street)
💰 What You Receive:
• 100% free tuition
• Final payment equal to 30 hours at minimum wage for the "1 week employment support"
• Tools and work gear provided
• One-on-one employment support from a YMCA BC Case Manager
• Weekly support for transportation and expenses may be available based on need.
🎓 Career Opportunities:
Graduates will be prepared for entry-level roles including HVAC Helper, Heat Pump Installer Assistant, Gas Appliance Installer Helper, Sheet Metal/Ductwork Helper, Hydronic Heating Assistant, and Building Systems Assistant.
👥 Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify, you must meet ALL of the following:
• Aged 15–30
• Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Confirmed Refugee)
• Currently unemployed or working fewer than 20 hours per week
• Not currently enrolled as a full-time student
